Superman to the rescue…
I am so pleased to announce that I have been asked to play at a star studded concert for Help Musicians.
The charity Help Musicians cares for professional musicians when they need it the most. The vast majority of musicians are freelance and don’t have a network of support if they get ill or need help. Sadly if you can’t work you won’t get paid and the reality is that a broken arm could really mean missed mortgage payments. Appropriately this concert features the film music from Superman as well as some weepy favourites and stonking tunes.
It’s an awesome line up for the night so do come along!
Sunday 15th October, 3pm at St John’s Smith Square
Tickets are free.
If you would like to support Help Musicians you can make a bid to conduct the orchestra or make a donation on the night.
Shostakovich - Festive Overture
Vaughan Williams - Fantasia on Greensleeve
Britten - Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra
Eric Coates - Knightsbridge from London Suite
Butterworth - On the Banks of Green Willow
