Introducing Jo Harris, Trumpet Player

Jo Harris performs repertoire bridging Bach to Bingham as a soloist and for her chamber group Bella Tromba. Her solo work has been endorsed by Help Musicians, who currently support her as an artist, helping her to realise her recording ambitions and develop solo performances.

Jo has performed for specialist ensembles Gabrieli and Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique and for Welsh National Opera. She plays regularly with new orchestra 'Alina' and for the Royal Opera House's educational department.

Her studio experience includes CD recordings with Britten Sinfonia for Chandos and Hyperion, live broadcasts with Bella Tromba for BBC TV and Classic FM and soundtracks for Universal Studios.
